Aveva già preso, per così dire, un periodo sabbatico nel 2007 (vedi qui www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=113546)

Adesso, per diverse ragioni esce dalla scena nuovamente (ciò spiega l'uscita di Darthmod 8.0 platinium, darthmod napoleon 2.6+++ e darthmod shogun2 2+++)

the DarthMod project will no longer continue for Total War games.

There will be some support for older games, if needed, as all my mods are complete now but there will be not a new DarthMod for new Total War games and of course not for the upcoming RTW2. I believe this is what CA also wanted for years, so I think they are happy now.

I am one of the biggest fans of Total War games, I do not think someone can deny this, but as CA continued to devalue my efforts to improve their games, I would be a fool to "insist".

Do not worry about the future of the current DarthMods. They will stay and will be probably somewhat more improved. Maybe now I will have more time to play them...

Pero' possiamo ancora sperare...hanno detto che aggiungeranno un'altro paio di nomi al summit...pero' dai,non invitare Darthvader é come dire "Rome é stato il peggior TW" :/

Mi dispiace ma sostanzialmentem'importa meno di niente
Non conta il singolo modder, ciò che renderà i total war migliori saranno le possibilità di modding e le dimensioni della comunità. L'assenza di Darth nel modding degli altri titoli non li rende inferiori

Quindi arrivederci e grazie, faremo a meno di te grande Lord. Qualora tornassi sui tuoi passi sarei il primo a downodare 10 volte Darth Rome II ^_^

Non avendo tempo per spulciare tutto total war center e non visitandolo da qualche settimana spiegatemi meglio la faccenda. Se ho ben compreso Darth va via perchè non è stato invitato e l'accusa alla CA è di essere solo di fastidio
La replica della CA è che i pass sono destinati a chi ha garantito tools alla comunità e chi ha dato originalità al suo lavoro e potrà garantire mod effettivamente possibili
Se nn ho compreso male la CA vince e Darth è solo paranoico e passa ai ricatti -_-

Perché il suo modding non ha nulla a che fare con l'originalità e non fa altro che collezionare i migliori lavori della comunità modificando di suo l'AI. Se l'AI non sarà mai veramente modificabile se non nei parametri già disponibili in futuro cosa ci va a fare? -_-

D'altro canto Darth avrebbe rappresentato la voce piu importante nel determinare le strade da seguire per Rome II ma non mi pare sia lui il game desiner
Il fatto di essere un modder gigantesco non giustifica questo suo ricatto

è un ragionamento inconcepibile..........
rome II non avrà bisogno di darth vader se avrà possibilità di modding all'altezza ed è lui che rischia di essere dimenticato in luogo di nuovi talenti
Potranno esserci dei fan che al lancio lo seguiranno fino alla fine (del resto pensa di danneggiare le vendite) ma quando spunteranno 100 total conversion lo abbandoneranno dimenticandolo come d'altronde si merita

abbandona decine di migliaia di fan per la mancata gratitudine di una industria e senza nessuna ragione palese è inaccettabile
(a meno che vi sono retroscena ancora sconosciuti :shifty:

Quindi o torna per Rome II o vada in pensione

Oltretutto annunciarlo prima del summit che senso ha nn abbiamo ancora idea di cosa sarà possibile fare dal 27. Magari ritroverà entusiasmo
Ho letto in altro topic che pensa di esser stato fatto fuori per le critiche alla CA
bene potrei postare veri e proprio insulti di Radious e mi pare sia stato anche invitato
